The Concrete Raising Process
We simply drill strategically placed holes into the slab. Then, using a portable pump and flexible hoses, we fill these holes with a blended Portland Cement grout. Once the void is filled the slab is pressurized and brought to its original position. The holes are then patched to match the existing surface.
Often the cost to perform this service is 50% to 70% less than the replacement cost. And the material injected beneath the slab provides a strong base similar to commercial back fill! This process allows one specific area of a concrete slab to be corrected and maintain a uniform appearance of the overall concrete area.
A pattern of 1″ holes are drilled through the sunken slab.
Grout is pumped under the slab with our specialized equipment. Once any void is filled, the slab becomes pressurized and raised to the desired height.
The holes are patched using hydraulic cement.
